Hi ,

In today's session it started off with a scan of my body starting at the head and working it's way down. The energy was doing a thorough search for areas needing attention, with my body acting as surrogate for the group.  When the scan got to the gut area (sacral chakra) it stopped, and the healing focussed there for the rest of the session.  During that time I also saw a lot of orange light, which is the colour associated with the sacral chakra.

Since there was so much focus in that area, I'll go over some of the things that are associated with the sacral. Physically it includes the bladder, kidneys, large intestine, pelvis, sexual organs, appendix etc.  When functioning harmoniously it can help with the ability to change, being creative, enthusiasm for life and the ability to experience pleasure.

Physical imbalances can come about if the energy isn't optimized in the sacral - including uterine issues, bladder or kidney trouble, urinary problems, frequent/painful urination, chronic lower back pain, sciatica, ob/gyn problems/menstruation difficulties and depression. Mental/emotional issues can include blame, guilt, money, power/control, creativity, honour in relationships and mood swings.

Today's session focused a lot of healing in that area, but it felt like there was more to do.  I will continue to try to hold energy there for the group and I imagine it will play a part in future sessions as well.
