There was a sensation of spinning today. Young kids often spin themselves around, feeling exhilaration and freedom from groundedness for just a moment. Our earth is constantly spinning, and at great speed. Generally we aren't even aware of it in our day to day movements. And yet sometimes it feels like life is spinning by faster than other times. Sometimes we feel that breaking free of control, like when we spun ourselves around as children, even while sitting still relative to the earth. Maybe it is a subtle awareness of that great speed of the spinning earth. Maybe a reminder of the incredible power of what keeps everything in motion. A powerful and important feeling in this moment.
