During today's session there was a strong physical component in my hands. They felt as though they were supporting the body - holding it up as needed. This is somewhat unusual in that it's normally more of an energy interacting with energy feel, but this was very rooted in the physical. It served as a reminder that reiki is there to provide physical support as well - a strength to help support us if we take a misstep or feel ourselves wobbling. It can help hold us up when needed. There was also an emotional component to this, in that the wise energy will support us during times of emotional and physical need. Indeed there are normally important messages to be learned in those moments and a spurt of growth to follow.
