Hi ,
Today's session seemed highly linked to an experience I had this week, so I'd like to tell you about it. The Reiki Master I learned from holds "Reiki Shares" on a regular basis. These are sessions where people trained in Reiki healing get together and practice together. On Monday night she held a 2nd level share - which means it's for anyone who has taken at least the 2nd level Reiki course. That level is the one where the symbols and techniques for distance energy healing are taught - so it was very relevant to our group!
In this particular reiki share session we did distance healing as a group on the requests that each of us had for healing at that time. The work we did that night had an amazing feel to it, and in discussions afterwards a number of the attendees mentioned there being a different feel to what they experienced vs. what they often do when sending energy. A couple of them described the slow wave types of movements in their head that I've been experiencing pretty regulary in our sessions, and which were the main feature of our session today in fact. In many ways if felt like barriers were being broken down and intense healing was happening there. There was also a general consensus of a feeling of protection over everyone who was there - a loving glow of light surrounding the group, or a giant protective feathered wing keeping everyone safe.
I truly believe that the work that is being done in our distance energy club had an influence on all of the reiki healers in that room on Monday night! And given the nature of energy that means that you were involved in that experience as well, and beneficiaries of that healing.
All the best in your journey, Andrew
Helpful Hint - Even if you forgot about it, or were busy, you will still receive the effects of a session. You also have the option of sitting down and receiving the energy at a later time should that be your preference. Energy is not limited by distance or time so if you intend for the session to be received at an alternate time then you will receive its benefits when you ask for it.
